Hi people within this writing I plan on taking you behind the scenes and showing you what’s going on behind the curtain the fitness industry has magically pulled in front of everyone’s eyes. So, instead of boring you with all of the details here – I’m going to show you the reasons WHY you have been lied to and WHO is responsible for feeding you all of these vicious LIES.
#1. Why “Fitness Gyms” Suck – And How They Fool You With “False Fitness”.
If you are the typical American, you’ve seen em’ – They are fluffed up with expensive chrome “exercise” equipment and wall to wall carpeting. They have the AC on so cold that the only way to break a sweat is to train in an Eskimo’s Parka Jacket. They are teaming with ravenous, pencil-necked personal trainers seeking to sink their teeth into your wallets and suck you dry of money and hope. I am talking about the Wal-Mart sized “Fitness Factories” that have been littering the American landscape since Arnold released Pumping Iron in the late 70’s. – I am talking about Fitness Gyms!

- each pair done for 20 sec “on” and 10 sec “off” each one taking 4 minutes

ATHLETE SPOTLIGHT – CHRIS MERKLE GETTING HIS SHOT!

Long time Optimal Performance Training Center Sports Performance Training Client, and good friend Chris Merkle is getting his chance at the Pro’s for Football.
I can’t say enough good things about Chris. He’s all heart and puts in even more hard work in the gym than anyone can imagine. And to say his efforts off the field pay off is an under statement…
Since this past football season we have been getting him ready with our combine prep program as he’s been getting some Pro looks.
Here is Chris’s private workout he did with his agents a few weeks ago;
Chris also has had pro day’s or football combines at Yale University’s “Pro” day as well as few other in the Northeast, with a BIG Time Private workout at Giants Stadium with The NY Football Giants earlier today.
Like I said Chris has been a long time Athlete of ours here at Optimal Performance and has become a great friend.
With his heart mindset and work effort , combined with his football skills – if he gets a shot in the pro’s, I know he’ll make some heads turn!

No Time – No Problem “Exclusive 15 minute workouts” to whip you into shape just in time for summer
I hear it all the time. It seems like no-one has time to work out anymore…
“I get home too late from work”
“I have to leave to early in the morning for work”
“I have too many other things to do that are more important to work out, and by the time I’m done with everything it’s either too late or I’m totally wiped out”
These are just a few things I hear people say every day as to why they don’t work out!
To me these are just excuses!

” 355″ method.. what that means is 3 excer. 55 reps of each.
Excercises- Chinup/Sumo DL/Inc Bench Press
* start at 10 reps of each excercise for the 1st round, then 9 reps and work down accordingly all the way to 1 rep…*
After this hit a reverse bench crunch/ab wheel – 3 sets of 15 reps ea.
3/22 OfX w/o ” You want me to do what, you must be crazy!!!”

Anyone who's done this knows what this means ahhaha

Prowler Flu ( which means running a ladder with the prowler)
-push 5yds and back 5yds + 5 burpbees
- push 10 yds and back 10yds+ 5 burpbees
- so on until you reach 25 yds down and back
* every time you come back down do 5 burpbees*
If you dare when you go up a ladder you must go back down, so do the longest to the shortest…have fun

In today’s Society it seems like all of us are plagued with ADD. Especially when it comes to exercise. We all know that we need to workout and eat right. And when we finally do get our butts to the gym – we can’t seem to find the “right program” that not only works, but allows our attention spans to focus and enjoy ourselves while doing it.
In my opinion that’s why we have such an obesity problem. We simply get bored at the gym.
And we all know what happens when you get bored at doing something Right?
Yup! We don’t do it!!!
That’s a reason why we are FAT as a society…
So today I want to enlighten you to an old school fat loss tool. It’s a simple piece of exercise equipment from russia that has been around for hundreds of years. It’s a Kettlebell – and it’s great for fat loss.
What is A Kettlebell?
A kettlebell is a cast iron cannon ball with a horse-shoe shapped handle welded onto it.
Why Use a Kettlebell?
Besides being incredible FUN – Here are the benefits of Kettlebells;

Just wanted to share these with you to show you that you don’t have to bury yourself in the gym behind a lot of iron all the time. The workouts below actually will give you an even better workout then weightlfiting anyway
