Here how it works
After the interview process, if you are selected, you will become an Optimal Performance intern. At this time you will begin your training process. This internship is an unpaid position and will last for a 1 – 4 week period – depending on your current skills & knowledge, as well as how well you grasp the Optimal Performance Training System. Tasks and training include observing Optimal Performance Coaches train and coach athletes/clients, as well as spending time learning the Optimal Performance Training system. When we feel you are ready, you will take your first appointment while being observed by the Optimal Performance Coaching manager.
When you are ready to take on athletes/clients independently, you will begin a 90 day probationary period. At this time you will be paid a session rate for each hour you are working with athletes/clients. This rate will be established at the commencement of your internship. Rates vary based on your performance throughout the internship.
Once you are seeing clients/athletes you will only need to be at the gym when you are training a client. Your job will be to keep your athlete/client sessions, and take on any new ones that you have time for.
During you probation period you will meet with Performance Director every 2 – 4 weeks to go over your performance.
After your probationary period you will be required to adhere to the above requirements, maintain a client schedule, and meet individually with Performance Director every 3 months.
